The Street Is the Classroom: Rio de Janeiro is a three-day photography workshop for photographers who want to sharpen how they see, shoot, edit, and sequence work in the street.
This is a focused, hands-on workshop limited to six participants. Each day, we work on foot, make photographs in real time, review the work together, and build toward a finished set of images.
Day one is about seeing and responding. Day two is about editing the work. Day three is about sequencing, so you leave Rio with a clear, intentional set of photographs rather than a full memory card.
The Field Manual
Every seat includes a printed copy of The Street Is the Classroom, the field manual at the center of this program.
Written from years of working, teaching, and learning in the street, the manual gives you a practical framework for making stronger photographs before, during, and after the workshop.
The manual is not sold separately. The only way to receive one is to be in the room.

Reserve your seat with a$250 deposit. The remaining $500 will be invoiced 14 days before the first day of the workshop.
Your seat is confirmed once the deposit is received.

Deposits are not refundable, but they may be transferred in full to another person or another city within the same calendar year.
