Where The Wild Roses Grow.
"Where The Wild Roses Grow" is a celebration of Sardinia's wild and free spirit, an ode to the island's captivating allure, and a reminder of the profound connection between nature, culture, and humanity.
Where The Wild Roses Grow is a long-term analog project made in Sardinia from 2015 to 2021. I returned to the island repeatedly, photographing its people, landscapes, and everyday life as it unfolded around me. Over time, the work became about observing patterns, noticing change, and letting the island reveal itself without forcing a story. These images reflect Sardinia as I experienced it—alive, layered, and rooted in its history and environment.
In essence, "Where The Wild Roses Grow" is a celebration of Sardinia's wild and free spirit, an ode to the island's captivating allure, and a reminder of the profound connection between nature, culture, and humanity.
